Backend Developer
LOCATION: CHENNAI
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. You will work on modern SaaS platforms, building scalable, high-performance applications using the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable applications using Next.js and React, leveraging App Router, Server Components, and API routes
- Design and implement secure backend systems using Node.js, integrating with Supabase (RLS, migrations, realtime, edge functions)
- Build type-safe applications using TypeScript, including schema validation with Zod
- Create responsive, production-ready UI using Tailwind CSS from Figma designs (including dark mode support)
- Integrate third-party services via OAuth, SDKs, and webhooks
- Implement background job processing and caching using BullMQ / Redis
- Manage version control, collaboration, and deployment workflows using GitHub
- Develop advanced UI components such as drag-and-drop interfaces (React Flow)
- Work on AI-powered features using pgvector, embeddings, and semantic search
- Build and maintain multi-channel messaging systems (e.g., SMS, WhatsApp, email integrations)
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through documentation and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Development (MERN stack)
- Strong expertise in both frontend and backend development
- Experience working in agile environments
- Full-stack certification is a plus
